ABSTRACT

O artigo enfoca a confluência dos princípios fundamentais que norteiam a física quântica e a psicologia analítica. Destaca a questão de estarmos habituados a lidar com as aplicações práticas decorrentes de ambas as abordagens e a dificuldade de integrarmos suas implicações no que concerne a nossa visão de mundo. Compreende a experiência da sincronicidade como sendo a experiência humana da interconexão quântica e elabora a questão do sentido envolvida nessa vivência, a percepção de fazermos parte integrante de uma ordem mais ampla, a vivência paradoxal da unicidade e do cósmico.


The article focuses on the confluence of the fundamental principles that guide quantum physics and analytical psychology. Of note is the question of dealing with the practical issues arising from both approaches and the difficulty of integrating their implications in terms of our worldview. The experience of synchronicity is understood as being the human experience of quantum interconnection, and the article expounds on the question of meaning involved in this experience, the perception of being an integral part of a broader order, and the paradoxical experience of uniqueness and the cosmic.


El artículo se centra en la confluencia de los principios fundamentales que orientan la física cuántica y la psicología analítica. Destaca la cuestión de que estamos habituados a tratar con las aplicaciones prácticas derivadas de ambos abordajes y la dificultad que tenemos de integrar sus implicancias en lo que concierne a nuestra visión del mundo. Comprende la experiencia de la sincronicidad como la experiencia humana de interconexión cuántica y elabora la cuestión del sentido intrínseca en esa vivencia, la percepción de formar parte integrante de un orden más amplio, la vivencia paradojal de la unicidad y de lo cósmico.

ABSTRACT

Homeopathy is a technique approved by the MAPA for organic production systems. Experiments demonstrating the effectiveness of homeopathy in agriculture are essential. Aims: To evaluate the effects of homeopathic treatment on soybean seed germination. Methodology: The experiment was performed in MS-Brazil. An area of 70 m² was used, divided into two comparison plots of 30 m² each. The soil of plot 1 (treated group) was treated with 5.25 kg of powdered Lithothamniummixed with 250 ml of 30% hydroalcoholic solution (HS) containing homeopathic ingredients. The soil of plot 2 (control group) was treated with thesame preparationbutwithout homeopathic ingredients. Additionally, the 400 seeds assigned toplot 1 were treated with 0,3 ml of a solution made up of 10 ml of 30% HS with homeopathic ingredients dilutedin 300 ml of water. The 400 seeds assigned toplot 2 were treated with 0.3 ml of a solutionmade up of 10 ml of HS without homeopathic ingredients diluted in 300 ml of water. The homeopathic ingredients Sulph 9C, Mag-c12C, and Calc-p 9C were used on soil and seed treatment. The selection and prescription of those ingredients followed Materia Medica instructions. The experiment was conducted using randomized design and 400 seeds per group were sown. Results and discussion: In plot 1, anaverage of 11 seeds per m² germinated, adding up to 330 germinated seeds at a percentage of 82.5%. In plot 2, an average of 7 seeds per m² germinated, adding up to 210 germinated seeds at a percentage of 52.5%. The frequency of seed germinationin both groups was assessed by the Chi-square test to check for significant differences(p<0.05). There was a statistical difference (p<0.05) in the seed germination in the treated group (n=330) compared to the control group (n=210). Conclusion:Homeopathic compounds can be used as a viable treatment for soybean germination.

Resumo O trabalho apresenta uma análise metalinguística de canções que compõem o álbum Quanta, de Gilberto Gil, explicitando as relações dialógicas que o enunciado artístico pode estabelecer com as ciências contemporâneas e com uma visão de saúde. Para tanto, é feita uma breve apresentação sobre o quadro teórico-metodológico a ser utilizado, a metalinguística de Bakhtin, e, a partir dele, são estabelecidos três eixos de análise, privilegiando a concepção de ciência, de física quântica e de saúde e cura presentes no álbum e evidenciando as complexas relações entre arte, física e saúde.


Abstract This article presents a metalinguistic analysis of the songs comprising the album Quanta by Gilberto Gil, highlighting the dialogical relationships that artistic endeavors can establish between contemporary science and a vision of health. This involves a brief introduction of the theoretical/methodological framework and Bakhtin's metalinguistics, followed by the establishment of three different analytical threads that follow the concepts of science, quantum physics, and health and healing which are present in the album, depicting the complex relationships between art, physics and health.

ABSTRACT

Cuando el planeta amanece con la noticia de la existencia de un virus mortal (Covid-19), se prenden todas las alarmas y con ellas, una gran cantidad de interpretaciones y análisis desde diferentes posturas científicas, filosóficas, ideológicas, socio antropológicas y espirituales. El virus ha puesto sobre el tapete oscuros intereses, perversas maniobras políticas, poderes maléficos, guerra de poderes, contradicciones y falencias en los sistemas de salud, olvidos y abandonos. Ha visibilizado los lados más contradictorios de la ciencia y de las promesas de la modernidad. La mirada desde la espiritualidad no ha faltado en estos momentos de pandemia mundial. Hemos estado saturados de infinidad de mensajes invitándonos a volver sobre nuestros pasos para poder entender con otros ojos y con otra mente; el sentido de este virus que nos puso cara a cara con una muerte a destiempo, dolorosa y en soledad. Muchas reflexiones nos deja esta pandemia, en este ensayo, se ha intentado desagregar en tres grandes temáticas: Transitando por los caminos de la espiritualidad, la salud publica en apuros y finalmente, Covid-19 ciencia, espiritualidad y salud. El propósito que ha orientado esta mirada no ha sido otro que incorporar en el análisis, como el ser humano, ha buscado algo que este más allá y que les brinde respuestas a sus más profundas interrogantes. Esta búsqueda ha sido precisada como su dimensión espiritual. La dimensión espiritual, no es otra cosa que la búsqueda ante el asombro de la finitud para poder comprender el sentido de vivir. Por otra parte, visibilizar las debilidades de la salud pública para hacer frente a la pandemia y la necesidad de consolidar el pensamiento de la salud colectiva. Finalmente mostrar evidencias dentro del campo de la medicina cuántica donde la espiritualidad toma el escenario, para lograr la sanación. La inteligencia espiritual como camino restaurador de la salud.


When the planet dawns with the news of the existence of a deadly virus (Covid-19), all alarms are set on and with them, a lot of interpretations and analysis from different scientific, philosophical, ideological, anthropological and spiritual socio postures. The virus has put on the table dark interests, perverse political maneuvers, evil powers, war of powers, contradictions and fallacy in health systems, forgetfulness and abandonment. He has made visible the most contradictory sidesof science and the promises of modernity. The estilo from spirituality has not been lacking at the moment. We have been saturated with countless messages inviting us to return to our steps so that we can understand with other eyes and with another mind; thesense of this virus that put us face to face with a death of time, painful and loneliness. Many reflections leave us this pandemic, in this essay, we have tried to disaggregate into three great thematic. Transiting the paths of spirituality, health publishes in distress and finally, Covid-19 science, spirituality and health. The purpose that has oriented this essay has been nothing more than to incorporate into the analysis, like the human being, has sought something that is beyond and that gives answers to its deepest questions. This search has been specified as its spiritual dimension. The spiritual dimension is nothing more than the search for the astonishment of finesse in order to understand the meaning of living. On the other hand, to make public health weaknesses visible to address the pandemic and the need to consolidate the thinking of collective health. Finally show evidence within the field of quantum medicine where spirituality takes the stage to achieve healing. Spiritual intelligence as a restorative path of health.

ABSTRACT

We review major computational chemistry techniques applied in industrial enzyme studies, especially approaches intended for guiding enzyme engineering. These include molecular mechanics force field and molecular dynamics simulation, quantum mechanical and combined quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical approaches, electrostatic continuum models, molecular docking, etc. These approaches are essentially introduced from the following two angles for viewing: one is about the methods themselves, including the basic concepts, the primary computational results, and potential advantages and limitations; the other is about obtaining valuable information from the respective calculations to guide the design of mutants and mutant libraries.

ABSTRACT

Mechanosensitive (MS) channels are extensively studied membrane protein for maintaining intracellular homeostasis through translocating solutes and ions across the membrane, but its mechanisms of channel gating and ion selectivity are largely unknown. Here, we identified the YnaI channel as the Na/K cation-selective MS channel and solved its structure at 3.8 Å by cryo-EM single-particle method. YnaI exhibits low conductance among the family of MS channels in E. coli, and shares a similar overall heptamer structure fold with previously studied MscS channels. By combining structural based mutagenesis, quantum mechanical and electrophysiological characterizations, we revealed that ion selective filter formed by seven hydrophobic methionine (YnaI) in the transmembrane pore determined ion selectivity, and both ion selectivity and gating of YnaI channel were affected by accompanying anions in solution. Further quantum simulation and functional validation support that the distinct binding energies with various anions to YnaI facilitate Na/K pass through, which was defined as binding-block mechanism. Our structural and functional studies provided a new perspective for understanding the mechanism of how MS channels select ions driven by mechanical force.

Homeopathic medicines affect physical properties of matter which depend on the characteristic and the potency of the medicine1. These effects can be explained from two aspects: (a) classical and (b) quantum electrodynamical. Using three different sets of experiments where homeopathic medicines have affected the physical properties of matter, we have shown how the results can be interpreted from both these points of view. Objetivo: hacer una reflexión sobre la tendencia de la legislación colombiana que regula el ejercicio médico, cada vez más impregnada del positivismo de Lombroso, Ferri y Garofalo, seguidores de la corriente determinista de Newton-Laplace, según la cual todo es pronosticable.Tesis: la medicina es una de las disciplinas humanas con más alta probabilidad de producir beneficios o desenlaces aleatorios.Conclusiones: la normatividad debe estar embebida de la prudencia que le es propia, para no sitiar a los profesionales de la medicina.


Objective: To reflect on Colombian legislation regulating medical practice, increasingly permeated by the positivism of Lombroso, Ferri and Garofalo, followers of Newton's and La Place's deterministic think ing according to which every thing is predictable.Thesis: Among human sciences, some of the highest odds of producing random benefits or outcomes are found in medicine.Conclusions: Regulations must be imbued with the wisdom inherent to them in order to avoid placing medical practitioners under siege.

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma nova visão do conceito de saúde por meio da eliminação das causas da quebra da homeostasia no nível informacional. Inicialmente o estudo se baseou na observação do tratamento de 2.500 casos e, atualmente, atingimos o número de 7.320 pessoas atendidas. Esperamos que este artigo contribua com a mudança de paradigmas na busca da simplificação dos processos de tratamento, e, também, para o campo da Gerontologia Aplicada, por meio do cuidado aos idosos para que possam envelhecer com saúde emocional, mental e física.


This article aims to present a new vision of health concept by eliminating the causes of breakdown of homeostasis in the informational level. Initially, the study was based on observation of treatment of 2.500 cases and currently reach the number of 7.320 people treated. We hope this article contribute to the paradigm shift in search of simplification of treatment processes, and to contribute to the field of Applied Gerontology through the care of the elderly so that they can grow old with emotional health, mental and physics.

ABSTRACT

From neurophenomenological perspectives, schizophrenia has been conceptualized as "a disorder with heterogeneous manifestations that can be integrally understood to involve fundamental perturbations in consciousness". While these theoretical constructs based on consciousness facilitate understanding the 'gestalt' of schizophrenia, systematic research to unravel translational implications of these models is warranted. To address this, one needs to begin with exploration of plausible biological underpinnings of "perturbed consciousness" in schizophrenia. In this context, an attractive proposition to understand the biology of consciousness is "the orchestrated object reduction (Orch-OR) theory" which invokes quantum processes in the microtubules of neurons. The Orch-OR model is particularly important for understanding schizophrenia especially due to the shared 'scaffold' of microtubules. The initial sections of this review focus on the compelling evidence to support the view that "schizophrenia is a disorder of consciousness" through critical summary of the studies that have demonstrated self-abnormalities, aberrant time perception as well as dysfunctional intentional binding in this disorder. Subsequently, these findings are linked with 'Orch-OR theory' through the research evidence for aberrant neural oscillations as well as microtubule abnormalities observed in schizophrenia. Further sections emphasize the applicability and translational implications of Orch-OR theory in the context of schizophrenia and elucidate the relevance of quantum biology to understand the origins of this puzzling disorder as "fundamental disturbances in consciousness".

ABSTRACT

Some cures carried out by Medium João Teixeira de Faría (John of God) are presented. He claims to channel spiritual entities (Drs. Augusto de Almeida, Oswaldo Cruz, and José Valdivino) that have instantaneous access to the physical, emotional and spiritual history of each patient who is then treated by physical or “spiritual” surgeries, herbs, meditation, prayers and the ingestion of “energized” water. People operated on have no pain during the interventions and infections have not been observed. The mechanisms responsible for the healings are unknown.


Se presentan algunas curaciones realizadas por el Médium João Teixeira de Faría (Juan de Dios). Al parecer, el Médium João canaliza entidades espirituales (Dres. Augusto de Almeida, Oswaldo Cruz y José Valdivino) que tienen acceso instantáneo a la historia física, emocional y espiritual de cada paciente, que luego es tratado mediante cirugías “espirituales” o físicas, hierbas, meditación, oración e ingestión de agua “energizada”. Los enfermos operados no sintieron dolor durante las intervenciones y las heridas no se infectaron. Aún se desconocen los mecanismos responsables de las curaciones.

ABSTRACT

The non-proteinogenic amino acids — phenylglycine (PG) and hydroxyphenylglycine (HPG) are crucial components of certain peptidic natural products and are important for the preparation of various medicines. In this, study, the conformation of model dipeptides Ac-X-NHMe of PG, p-HPG and 3, 5-di-hydroxyphenylglycine (3, 5-DHPG) was studied both in R and S form by quantum mechanical (QM) and molecular dynamics approaches. On the energy scale, the conformational states of these molecules in both the R and S were found to be degenerate by QM studies, stabilized by non-covalent interactions like carbonyl--carbonyl interactions, carbonyl-lp··π (aromatic ring) interactions etc. These interactions disappeared/weakened due to interaction of water molecules with carbonyl groups of backbone in simulation and water was found to interact with the aromatic ring through Ow-H··π or Owlp··π interactions. The degeneracy of conformational states was lifted in favor of R-form of PG and DHPG and water molecules interactions with aromatic ring led to non-planarity of the aromatic ring. In simulation studies, irrespective of the starting geometry, the , values for the R form correspond to inverse b/inverse collagen region and for the S-form, the , values correspond to b/collagen region i.e., adopt single conformation. The obtained results were in conformity with the CD spectroscopic data on D-PG and D-p-HPG. The conformational behavior of the unusual amino acids might be of great help in designing of bioactive peptides/peptide based drugs to be realized in single conformation – an essential requirement.

ABSTRACT

Fetal electrocardiogram (FECG) is an objective index of the activities of fetal cardiac electrophysiology. The acquired FECG is interfered by maternal electrocardiogram (MECG). How to extract the fetus ECG quickly and effectively has become an important research topic. During the non-invasive FECG extraction algorithms, independent component analysis(ICA) algorithm is considered as the best method, but the existing algorithms of obtaining the decomposition of the convergence properties of the matrix do not work effectively. Quantum particle swarm optimization (QPSO) is an intelligent optimization algorithm converging in the global. In order to extract the FECG signal effectively and quickly, we propose a method combining ICA and QPSO. The results show that this approach can extract the useful signal more clearly and accurately than other non-invasive methods.

Este estudo contempla uma discussão epistemológica sobre a psicologia clássica e uma de suas vertentes atuais, a Gestalt- terapia, utilizando-se a trajetória da Física Clássica para a Quântica como pano de fundo. Realizou-se uma discussão por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, abordando três pontos dicotômicos que envolveram (e ainda envolvem na atualidade) uma transição parcial da Física Clássica para a Física Quântica (linearidade versus não linearidade; ação e reação versus complexidade; e mecânica clássica versus mecânica quântica); e, ilustrativamente, três pontos de discussão associados às Físicas clássicas em contraposição à Gestalt-terapia (causalidade versus existencialismo; elementarismo versus holismo; e objetividade versus fenomenologia). Concluiu-se que existem diferenças e semelhanças nas trajetórias analisadas, como as propriedades paradoxais de seus objetos, o quantum e a consciência humana, configurando pontos de contato que possibilitam um diálogo entre ambas, Física Quântica e Gestalt-terapia...


This study offers an epistemological discussion about the classic psychology and one of its present components, Gestalt therapy, using the trajectory of classical physics to quantum as a backdrop. There was a discussion through a review by addressing three points involving dichotomous (and still currently involved) a partial transition from classical physics to quantum physics (linearity versus nonlinearity; action and reaction versus complex; and classical mechanics versus quantum mechanics) and, illustratively, three points of discussion related to classical psychology as opposed to Gestalt therapy (causal versus existentialism; elementarism versus holism, and objectivity versus phenomenology). It was concluded that there are differences and similarities in the trajectories analyzed, as the paradoxical properties of its objects, the quantum and human consciousness, setting up contact points that enable a dialogue between both quantum physics and Gestalt-therapy...


Este estudio ofrece una discusión epistemológica acerca de la psicología clásica y uno de sus capítulos, la terapia Gestalt, con la trayectoria de la física cuántica clásica como telón de fondo. Hubo una discusión a través de una revisión por resolución de los tres puntos la participación dicotómicos (y sigan operando actualmente) una transición parcial de la física clásica a la física cuántica (la acción linealidad versus la no linealidad; acción y reacción versus complejo; y la mecánica clásica versus la mecánica cuántica) y, ilustrativa, tres puntos de debate relacionados con la psicología clásica en oposición a la terapia Gestalt (causal contra el existencialismo; elementarismo versus holismo, y la objetividad frente a la fenomenología). Se concluyó que hay diferencias y similitudes en las trayectorias analizadas, como las propiedades paradójicas de sus objetos, la cuántica y la conciencia humana, la creación de puntos de contacto que permitan un diálogo entre la física cuántica y la Terapia Gestalt...

Este estudo se propõe a apresentar uma reflexão teórica sobre a relação entre os conceitos de Ser Humano, saúde e doença, e as perspectivas advindas com o desenvolvimento da Teoria Quântica. Apresenta argumentos para a compreensão de que a partir do momento em que há o reconhecimento da dimensão espiritual, existe a necessidade de reformulações dos conceitos que norteiam a prática profissional, uma vez que são estes que possibilitam a interpretação e direcionam a resposta comunicacional que, no caso da saúde, resulta no atendimento ao doente. Entende como imperativa a necessidade, para o atendimento e compreensão da dimensão espiritual do Ser Humano, do aprofundamento do nível comunicacional que exercemos com as pessoas.


The purpose of this study is to present a theoretical reflection about the relation between the Human Being, health and disease concepts, and the perspectives stemming from the development of the Quantum Theory. It presents arguments for the comprehension that, from the moment where the spiritual dimension is recognized, there is the need for reformulation of concepts that guide the professional practice, since they make interpretation possible and direct the communicational response that, in the case of healthcare, results in the service provided to the patient. The study also understands that the necessity of furthering the communicational level exerted on people is imperative to provide care and to comprehend the spiritual dimension of the Human Being.


Este estudio se propone presentar una reflexión teórica sobre la relación entre los conceptos de Ser Humano, salud y enfermedad, y las perspectivas provenientes del desarrollo de la Teoría Cuántica. Presenta argumentos para la comprensión de que a partir del momento en que se reconoce la dimensión espiritual, existe la necesidad de realizar reformulaciones de los conceptos que orientan la práctica profesional, una vez que son estos los que posibilitan la interpretación y dirigen la respuesta de comunicación que, en el caso de la salud, resulta en la atención al enfermo. Entiende como imperativa la necesidad de atender y comprender la dimensión espiritual del Ser Humano y, de profundizar el nivel de comunicación que ejercemos con las personas.

ABSTRACT

An automatic detection of Electrocardiogram (ECG) using Quantum Neural Networks (QNN) with multiresolution analysis is given in the paper. QNN originates from exploiting BP neural networks. With the quantum neurons, QNN can model the levels of uncertainty arising from complex classification problems. Its potential advantage over conventional methods is based on the argument for reliability. The fuzzy feature is expected to enhance the reliability of the network, which is critical for improving desirable diagnosis accuracy. And wavelet transform with multiresolution analysis is adopted in ECG pretreatment for reducing the numbers of neurons. So it can improve convergence speed of the network. The results of simulation confirmed the feasibility of the proposed approach.

ABSTRACT

The solid state spectroscopy of charge transfer complexes of biomolecules such as fatty acids, tripalmitin, lysozyme. folic acid, beta-carotene, cytochrome c, valinomycin and gramicidin has been carried out. The absorption coefficient is related with electronic conductivity. A half-power beta density is found common among these macromolecular solids, indicating photon-induced polaron hopping or hopping of a charge carrier between two branches of a polariton. Band gap vs full width at half-maximum of the mid-IR peak also reveals a linear relation.
